Promoting animal health by supporting projects to improve veterinary advisory services in disease prevention and the judicious use of antimicrobials, medicines and vaccines;

Promoting education by awarding scholarships and advanced-training bursaries to undergraduate and graduate students in veterinary medicine who undertake training related to animal health and public health in connection with projects funded by the Foundation;

Receiving and maintaining one or more funds and allocating all or part of the capital and the income derived from that capital, from time to time, to qualified donees as defined in subsection 149.1(1) of the Income Tax Act (Canada);

Organizing fundraising activities and fundraising campaigns for the purpose of raising funds for charitable ends;

Promoting and funding innovative research projects and the development of IT tools and technological applications, which may include the use of artificial intelligence, in the field of animal health and public health;

Organizing and/or funding awareness and training activities for veterinarians and/or their clients, the community and researchers, with the aim of educating the public about the importance of animal and public health;

Soliciting and receiving, for the fulfilment of its objects, gifts, bequests and all other contributions of a similar nature in money, in movable or immovable securities and other property and services; and administering such gifts, bequests and contributions;

The Foundation carries on no activity that is not incidental to, and directly connected with, the fulfilment of its charitable purposes. These objects do not, however, allow subscribers or their assigns to recover, in any form whatsoever, the money they have paid to the Foundation.
