Our Financial Assistance Fund actively supports initiatives to combat antimicrobial resistance in animal health. Our commitment is to provide a complementary financial lever to develop practical and essential veterinary IT tools for data collection and analysis, promoting judicious antimicrobial use and improving the use of medications and vaccines.
The FASA FOUNDATION – ANIMAL HEALTH ASSISTANCE FUND is a non-profit organization recognized as a registered charity under the Income Tax Act (Canada), operating exclusively for charitable purposes.
Promotes the collection of high-quality data to support veterinarians and all their clients in making evidence-based medical decisions, for all animal species.
Supports and promotes the initiatives of MAPAQ, in collaboration with its partners, aimed at monitoring antibiotic use in animal health.
Strengthens the leadership of veterinarians and their clients in animal health, in service of a responsible and informed use of antimicrobials, medications and vaccines.
Acts as a strategic and complementary financial lever, accelerating the development of software and technological tools that support surveillance and the evolution toward personalized veterinary medicine.
Contributes to strengthening veterinary advisory services for the benefit of animals and their owners.
Maximizes the impact of philanthropic investments by supporting structuring, collaborative and sustainable projects that benefit the entire veterinary ecosystem.
