About us
Our Financial Assistance Fund actively supports initiatives to combat antimicrobial resistance in animal health. Our commitment is to provide a complementary financial lever to develop practical and essential veterinary IT tools for data collection and analysis, promoting judicious antimicrobial use and improving the use of medications and vaccines in the agri-food sector.
The ANIMAL HEALTH ASSISTANCE FUND (FASA) is a neutral, non-profit organization that:
Promotes the collection of high-quality data to guide veterinarians and their clients, producers/breeders, in making evidence-based medical decisions.
Supports the initiatives of MAPAQ and its partners in monitoring antibiotic use in animal health.
Aims to enhance the leadership of veterinarians and their clients in animal health, thereby improving the responsible and judicious use of antimicrobials, medications, and vaccines.
Acts as a complementary and accelerating financial lever for the development of software and technological tools to support the monitoring and practice of personalized veterinary medicine.
Seeks to strengthen veterinary advisory services for the benefit of animals and their producer-farmer owners.
