FASA Gouvernance

To ensure its mission is carried out in an agile and efficient manner, it was necessary to establish an independent organization. This organization was formed as a non-profit entity and is governed by a Board of Directors consisting of 7 members (see Directors’ section).

FASA has also established an Advisory Committee to guide its decisions. This committee serves as a consultative body to the FASA Board of Directors, providing insight into identifying issues in the field and prioritizing projects considered by FASA. It is composed of strategic partners representing several external organizations involved in animal health within the agri-food sector, including AMVPQ, AVIA, CAHI, FMV, MAPAQ, and PLQ. The Advisory Committee thus supports the Board of Directors in fulfilling its mission. It is assisted in its mandate by the FASA Coordinator, who ensures the progress of the committee’s work.
